Massage Therapy

The Mayo Clinic has made the following statements: "Massage Therapy is a general term that describes pressing, rubbing, and manipulating the skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and connective tissue. Studies demonstrate that massage therapy is an effective treatment for reducing stress, pain and muscle tension. While more research is needed some studies have found massage may also be helpful for: anxiety, digestive disorders, fibromyalgia, headaches, myofascial pain syndromes, soft tissue strains or injuries, sports injuries, and temperomandibular joint pain". "Massage Therapy can be a powerful tool to help you take charge of your health and well-being".

Dr Benjamin Peterson
It has been my great privilege to have been practicing in the Edmonton area since 1996. I endeavour to provide professional, compassionate care suited to your personal needs. Also, to help with the chiropractic needs of your entire family, I primarily utilize an Accustim adjusting instrument to provide gentle - high velocity - adjustments to mobilize the spinal and extremity joints, without general body twisting or "cracking".
I have been married to my beautiful wife, Rachel, since 1992 and we have three sons and a daughter who keep our lives busy. Rachel works as the Point Wellness Center office manager and our oldest son, Garrett, also works at the office doing afternoon front end work.
I am so grateful to work with the other highly skilled therapists in my clinic. All of us here, at Point Wellness, are dedicated to providing quality, timely, and compassionate care to each of our patients.
All my best for your health.
